Mouth plate fragment from a ray or skate
A digital image of a mouth plate from a ray/skate found in the Peace River in Arcadia, DeSoto County, Florida, in 2016-12. One side of the plate has ridges with some debris caught in the ridges. The other side of the plate is almost smooth.
