<text>This item is a first edition of "The Jungle" by Upton Sinclair. It was published in 1906. It is in fair to poor condition. The cover is frayed, it seems to have a watermark ring from a cup on the front cover, and the printed image on the cover is missing. The book's binding is broken and the pages are aged. There is a bookplate inside the front cover for The Tabard Inn Library. The book's number was 4435. However, there are no marks showing the book was ever taken out of/returned to the library.</text>
